How will we help?
Sam lives in NYC and has been feeling depressed and anxious as of late. She used to love painting in her free time but can't find the energy to pick up a paintbrush anymore. She can reach out to Heal where we will connect her with a person who paints every weekend in Brooklyn and cover the costs of her canvas and paints.
Our Story
Founded in 2022, Heal emerged from witnessing the profound impacts of mental illness first hand. We strived to rewrite the narrative for mental health support.
Raising awareness only scratches the surface.
Therapy and medication may be a step in the right direction, but it is not a magic potion.
The seeds of despair are sown long before thoughts of suicide take root. Prevention hotlines are often too late.
Our philosophy is that human connection, genuine friendship and staying active are the cornerstones to addressing mental illness. We want to forge lasting connections that have the potential to make a tangible, permanent difference in someone's life. We aim to transform lives, one flame at a time.

Therapy and medication certainly can help, however it is not the one true answer for many struggling people.
I, Colby, am one of those people.
I figured, well, how can I positively impact people like me, while supporting the powerful impression that we can all still carry on despite the weight dragging us down everyday? -
Sunny Patel
Mental illness is not fun to talk about. Individuals and families suffer in silence for far too long with the sole rationale of "What will people think?". I have seen this one question ruin lives firsthand.
I am dedicated to flipping this narrative and making mental health a commonplace discussion. -

Life is a beautiful thing. Sometimes it can be hard though. Unexpected twists and turns can make one lose their sense of direction. We must continuously try to keep our flames ignited and find the beauty all around us.
Human connections are one of the most amazing things in this world. I hope to help people connect and reconnect with one another, tap into their creativity and rekindle their flames.
